Gardens that don’t just look beautiful.
They help people heal.

Founder Triston Parsons started in occupational therapy at UAB before pivoting to landscaping, and he never left the wellness mission behind. Every La Vida design is informed by how plants, light, texture, and sound actually affect the people who live inside them.

Vida Gardens is the long-term expression of that work: therapeutic sensory gardens for pediatric and geriatric wellness, a working nursery, and a Southeast nonprofit dedicated to the science of horticultural therapy.

    § 07 Our Story

    Started with 15 lawns
    and a knock on a door.

    Triston Parsons started La Vida in high school with a push mower and a stubborn faith. A pivot from occupational therapy at UAB into full-time design-build came when one client asked if he could handle more than maintenance , and the answer became the company.
