A landscape company built on faith, family, and the long view.

Triston Parsons started knocking doors in high school with a push mower and a notebook. Fifteen residential lawns later, he was the de-facto neighborhood landscaper, balancing maintenance routes against AP classes.

He enrolled at the University of Alabama at Birmingham for occupational therapy, drawn to work that helps people heal. Then a client asked if he’d take on a real design job. He said yes. The job became another job. The jobs became a company.

“I didn’t have any systems and was taking on a lot of work, which is good, but also the lack of systems was hurting me. So I built them.”

That instinct, building the system underneath the work, is the throughline. It’s why we run a vertically integrated design-build practice (no handoffs between designers, installers, and maintenance crews) and why we’re investing in commercial capabilities, a pool division, RGB-lit putting greens, and a long-term therapeutic-gardens vision called Vida Gardens.

The name comes from la vida, meaning life. The work is creation, used to glorify the Creator. The mission predates the company and outlasts it.
